Italian City to Host World’s First ‘Tiramisu 10k’ Run

A 10k (about 6.3 miles) might sound like zero fun if you're not a runner. But one race this October flips the script: it welcomes walkers, it's non-competitive by design, and everyone crosses the finish line to the same reward — a generous helping of authentic tiramisu.

On Sunday, October 11, 2026, Treviso, Italy, the city widely credited as the birthplace of tiramisu, will host the world's first Tiramisù Run, a relaxed route through its medieval center. The course winds past canals, cobblestone streets, and Renaissance-era piazzas, and it's open to anyone 16 and up, no training plan or finish-time anxiety required.

This run is built to coincide with the Tiramisù World Cup, the international competition where bakers from around the world compete for the title of best tiramisu in Treviso's main square that same weekend (October 9–11).

So your itinerary is basically written for you: run or walk in the morning, then taste the world's best tiramisu in the afternoon.
