The 50 Wildest Things People Left in Ubers in 2024
Hi there,
Never have I ever left something in an Uber—except, well, I definitely have. And it turns out, I’m not alone. Uber’s latest Lost and Found Index reveals the most commonly forgotten items reported by riders—and unsurprisingly, cellphones top the list, with over 1.7 million iPhones and Androids left in Ubers last year. That definitely makes tipping or messaging your driver afterward a bit tricky.
But beyond the usual suspects, some items on the list will have you wondering what the story behind them is—from live lobsters and a Ghostbusters ghost trap to a unicycle.
Let this be your friendly reminder (myself included) to double-check for all your belongings before hopping out of that Uber. And if you're curious, take a look at the full list of bizarre items left behind.
Travel well,
Kelsey Wilking
